About This Map

This map began on a night I still remember — my dog was in trouble, and as I held her I dug through search results that offered nothing but outdated listings and clinics with no emergency service at all. That helplessness is something I never want another pet parent to feel.

So I built the 24HR Emergency Vet Map: emergency vet clinics across Taiwan, one-tap navigation and calling, after-hours notes — and filters so that parents of birds, turtles, rodents, rabbits and reptiles can find clinics that will actually see them. It's free, no login, and continuously updated.

Where does the data come from? How often is it updated?: Google business data provides the base, and every clinic is then verified by hand (the ✓ marks on the list page show recent verification). An automated monthly sweep detects closures, relocations and newly opened emergency clinics.
Why not just search Google Maps?: A raw search for "24hr vet" mixes in clinics that offer 24-hour inpatient care but no emergency service — some even state "no emergency service". And what an emergency actually requires — whether to call first, dedicated emergency lines, registration fees, whether exotic pets are seen — mostly isn't on Google. It's verified and noted here.
